Soundtracks and whatever else you like
I love this record. First track is an easy vocal version of Bruno Nicolai's theme for Jess Franco's Eugenie de Sade -- https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=50ltWqfjFzI

The second track is a beautiful baroque arrangement with Alessandro Alessandroni and presumably I Cantori Moderni.
Interestingly this album was pressed in France, not Italy.
Steve Moore - Primitive Neural Pathways

Moore is a great synth musician in the kosmische vein with many albums, side projects, and 20 film composing credits

Selections from Abel Gance's silent epic Napoleon (1927)
Guess I'll post this here too. Lots of good music in 60s and 70s bong media.
These guys do a great job of faking the 70s italian horror sound

Essential commie stache wave
Can't stand Radiohead, but Greenwood's soundtrack for the Phantom Thread was sublime.

I've heard his other soundtracks but not Phantom Thread. Greenwood was always the most interesting member of Radiohead.

Phantom Thread is fantastic, strangely enough I haven't heard any other Greenwood soundtracks except for 'The Master'. Let me also add, in the way of soundtracks, Georges Delerue's 'Camille' for the film 'Le mépris' and Sébastien Tellier's OST for 'Narco' (the French indie film, not the TV series). I also like the soundtrack to Sofia Coppola's Marie Antoinette.
Naushad – Song of the Waves Yesterday I was looking for new music recommendations and I came across this sublime instrumental track. The music comes from an Indian film called Pazeekah but so far I can't find the complete score. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=KjQtzUc4ePE
Checking in with Grouper she is looking a bit haggard these days, living on the Oregon coast in Astoria. When I first heard of her she was painting her face like a zombie and making beautiful ethereal music. Turns out she grew up in an isolated commune in California where every girl had the same middle name. https://pitchfork.com/features/profile/groupers-liz-harris-explains-the-art-of-the-paradox-and-the-beauty-of-mistakes/
Repost from the old place but here it is again if we have interested new guests. 5 Joe Hisaishi scores for Takeshi Kitano movies, 1991-2002. >A Scene at the Sea https://mega.nz/#!GI4SGCSJ!1J8f4XPi_U38yptZw7zYWoRghxsoepmFZse1YyYQjGw >Sonatine https://mega.nz/#!3EwiBQCb!Yl0LRlJSbSz5hQ8dtEF8zO9OoUNNkAVAp1xqrjjqfZU >Kids Return https://mega.nz/#!aU4ElIhY!1FT0D_8IloUk7Isl5J6VIB8OmZ14rdh6bB-BoNYP_Sg >Hana-Bi https://mega.nz/#!yQ5UEQ6B!UDWIxmKkf8qXaeZnRbm_eij-y5lHu02aPWqBW2-uKfI >Dolls https://mega.nz/#!WUwmgCKD!18V5QOL4ndh_6dxqPb98oJyF6jDDigLelOxfwXwnkSw >>499 Looked for a while but didn't find it, pajeet media is tough to dig due to the sheer amount of it, reminds me somewhat of electronica even when in this case Naushad Ali नौशाद अली seems to be one of the most famous ones.

Making Waves: The Art of Cinematic Sound https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=WsIE4x3xU0Y <An exploration of the history, artistry, and emotional power of cinema sound, as revealed by legendary sound designers and visionary directors, via interviews, clips from movies, and a look at their actual process of creation and discovery. https://www.imdb.com/title/tt3856408/ https://rarbg.to/torrent/yhnor8e This documentary seems relevant to this thread, although I haven't watched it yet. I'm particularly interested in the process of sound design.

It wasn't a very good movie, but the soundtrack is something else.
>>702 yes indeed, wow The Good Time OST was decent but that sounds next level
