Welcome to the Inter-board Cup HQ! Anonymous 02/14/2020 (Fri) 16:26:27 No.1
This board is a bunker (or alternative, given how shit 8kun is) to the /icup/ and /8cc/ boards over 8kun.top. Our objective at /icup/ is to provide sports oriented competitions for all boards of the Webring (as well as any other IB who's willing to pitch in) of various sports. Our most well known tournament is of course the 8chan Cup or Inter-Board Cup, hosted...sometimes by our tireless rigger SKF. For more information about the 8chan Cup/Inter-board Cup and all teams competing in it you can visit http://infinitycup.shoutwiki.com/wiki/Main_Page RULES 1. Global rules apply (don't post illegal stuff) 2. Threads should be about creating new teams for the upcoming Inter-board Cups, as well as discussing new formats (Racing Wars, Handegg, Majoritycrimerateball, Wrestling in collab with 8chanmania) and suggesting new tools to mod and host better tournaments 3. Organizing sponsored and friendly matches among teams; 4. Organizing your own board's team and roster. Stay tuned for the next cup!

What is that soccer game you guys always use? I have no artistic skill at all, so I might as well at least have a head-start on my characters.
>>3 PES 2017 I reckon was the last version we used in the cup. But as I said, while PES is the go-to since we take inspiration from the 4CC, other games with customization are more than accepted as suggestions for future cups. I myself wanted to create an NBA 2K1X cup given that the modding tools for that game are quite expansive, see: https://www.invidio.us/watch?v=1CVFcSSNGGI

Hoy anons, I see our bunker board has won the Attention Hungry Games out here, so I'll give a quick word. I still plan on hosting the next Cup in one way or another. It's still in the very early planning stages as I'm still trying to fully update the wiki from the last Cup AND get all of the match videos uploaded somewhere. Personal things on my end are taking up a ton of my time in the recent month(s) so progress is slow. In the meantime, if you are interested in checking things out or entering your board for the first time, or again, you can find out how to get PES 17 as well as the save file and aesthetics from the previous Cup from this link here: http://infinitycup.shoutwiki.com/wiki/Pro_Evolution_Soccer_2017 I'll update everyone again soon, thank you for visiting the board.
Good to see the infinity[1] cup is back in action! I was looking at the wiki last week to find no new plans and a couple of dead links to >8ch.net. Will 8chan boards be allowed in the cup? The wiki and previous cups were full of them and we may even need some to fill the empty slots. >>5 >get all of the match videos uploaded somewhere. It should come as no surprise that jewtube is the best place for long-term storage of video. But only storage, because it will inevitably be blocked due to copyright or "policy violations". You could also share the videos over torrents/ipfs, though that kills an anon's privacy. I'll look into some cheap hosting that's big enough for recordings and a database for customizations, as that's a mess even at 4chan. [1] Infinity Cup is objectively the best name, regardless of whether it reminds you of 8chan. We do need a new logo to release us from the shackles of 8chan and truly become limitless.

>>7 fugg :DDD
>>6 How many slots are there to fill? According to http://infinitycup.shoutwiki.com/wiki/Category:Teams there are 55 teams in total. Even if some of them are dead it should be more than enough.
>>9 Your assumption is right, there's plenty of dead teams, in some cases it's not just the board on 8kun/Webring to be dead, it's more like the people behind it aren't interested in maintaining it anymore. There are currently as many slots to fill as you want, so if your board isn't among the ones that already have a team (or if it is, and you own a board here and want to do something with it), go for it and edit it to your heart's content.
