I recently got some Streamlight flashlights with USB-rechargeable batteries; do any of you have experience with the charge time, total length of use, and lifespan regarding these things? It looks like they're putting out the lumens as advertised, but I don't know whether they'll keep that output for multiple charge cycles.

The fact people here are more concerned about appearing not racist than showing the government they won't deal with being fucked in the ass and having their shit confiscated just proves the state is Atlantic California now and beyond saving as far as I'm concerned. You can do that though, it's your idea after all, if you believe you can accomplish something that way by all means go ahead.

>>7457 I said I'm not moving out of my state, or did you not read my posts all the way through? Just because I'm not going to take up your fed tier suggestion of doing lone wolf rampage shit doesn't mean I'm going to obey these laws either, which is why I was wondering about out of state purchases in the first place.

But that’s not pipelines. >Several farmers I know have had to bitch about them coming out and replacing shit Am a Farmer, they’re just whiney bitches then. They pay for any crop they run over and any land they use or dig up, and it’s fairly good pay, any crops they take out will be more profitable then the stuff you harvest and sell. Still can be a pain though. >others are pissed off that ill maintained line is over a bunch of aquifers that shouldn’t be legal. But who’s going to dig up old pipe just to check? I took a ground disturbance course last year an according to the curse instructor there’s millions of kilometres of old pipe all over the place some is even wood it’s so old. Obviously wooden pipes aren’t still in use but that really doesn’t sell them on maintaining pipe rather than just replacing it.

Africa General: Mad Mike Hoare dead at age 100 Strelok 02/03/2020 (Mon) 14:55:06 No.6928 [Reply] [Last]
Mad Mike Hoare, the Legend Has Died From the Soldier of Fortune Magazine COLONEL ‘MAD MIKE’ HOARE DIES An officer and a gentleman … with a bit of pirate thrown in Feburary 2nd, 2020 http://archive.is/jtSoh "The well known adventurer and soldier of fortune, Lt Col ‘Mad Mike’ Hoare, died in his sleep and with dignity aged 100 years at a care facility in Durban on 2 February 2020. A spokesman for the family and Mike Hoare’s biographer, Chris Hoare, said, “Mike Hoare lived by the philosophy that you get more out of life by living dangerously, so it is all the more remarkable that he lived more than 100 years. “Most people who met Mike described him as a legend, and as an officer and a gentleman; only a few realised there was a bit of pirate thrown in. Known as ‘Mad Mike’, he was short and dapper, impossibly charming, unaccountably enigmatic, always polite, strangely proper, absolutely sane, good natured, a brilliant leader and an absolute legend …” Mike Hoare was born in 1919 in India of Irish seafaring stock, and was educated in England. In the British army in WW2, he initially attended a small-arms school and officer training school. Later he saw action at Kohima, India, and in Burma. He was demobilised from the Armoured Corps as major. He qualified as a chartered accountant in London and emigrated to South Africa in 1948. He graduatedto the African bush, first by doing long-distance mountain hikes, then on motorbikes (Cape Town to Cairo, and Mombasa to Lobito) and later as a safari leader in the Kalahari Desert. In 1961 he commanded a unit of mercenary troops in Katanga. In 1964/5 he led 300 “Wild Geese” in the Congo to suppress a communist-inspired rebel uprising, becoming a household name in many parts of the world.

Gun companies to avoid Strelok 01/10/2020 (Fri) 15:15:19 No.4573 [Reply] [Last]
After hearing that Colt brought the Python it brings up that they and other companies supported the 1968 bill and AWB as to increase their profits against the surplus market especially Ruger. While Ruger politically and materially redeemed itself I don't think the others have. Let's make a list on what companies to avoid and what companies are green to buy from.

>>6371 >>6374 Thanks for the info guys. I really appreciate it. Should I avoid Norinco? Yeah, they're chinks and all but do they have shitty products. I've seen their ammo in stores but never bothered to buy it.
>>6448 Norinco stuff isn't bad, finish tends to be rough on the guns and the ammo works, 80-90's production stuff has a funny smell to it after you've fired it. Incidentally the chicoms arms industry isn't one of their weak points unlike everything else they do.
>>6448 Anytime. Also forgot to mention, but .45 ACP can't headspace at all without moonclips, and so if you fire it the case is going to be launched backwards against the frame, and it's not designed to take that kind of punishment. It's not going to just randomly explode, but it might get cracked. https://invidio.us/watch?v=oQq4qI8oMcc In addition you should look up other .45 ACP based cartridges and read about what the revolver can take. Who knows, maybe you will end up with a box of .45 Winchester Magnum for a great price, and maybe it's going to be great for that revolver, but it's also possible that you are going to blow up the cylinder with the first shot.
>>6374 If I recall the Magnum models of the Judge can take .454 casull.

Come to think of it, which economic sectors are going to be hit the hardest by all the coughing and dying of fluid-filled lungs? Pharmaceutical (((conglomerates))) making lotsa shekels and tourism crashing with no survivors are given but what about things like industrial transportation and the wider servant industries? Wuhan is a core railway hub of Commie Chinkland, surely not having trains running there must have caused some financial losses unless Chinks are letting trains pass in secret hoping the virions will break in transit. Would the CCP banning wet markets and executing anyone selling live animals/unrefrigerated food at street stalls as an act of desperation cause widespread rioting/civil war or would Chinks comply and go to government-approved out of stock Supermarkets instead?

>instead he puts full attention on capturing the Caucasus mountains and the oilfields there, redeploys considerable amounts of troops from Armeegruppe Nord and Zentrum to that theatre
>Armeegruppe Nord retreats from Leningrad and gets pushed out of Estonia, Armeegruppe Zentrum retreats towards Minsk
>Motorized infantry+tank divisions of Armeegruppe Süd reach the Caspian east coast in early December as western armies capture Sochi while the 6th Army performs a series of diversions and delaying attacks near Stalingrad to slow Soviet redeployments
>Germans fail to capture Astrakhan and bomb its pipeline instead
>Soviets noticed what's going a tad too late, their deployments are hasty and unfocused
>German 6th Army loses over half of its men mounting a near-suicidal delaying action east of Stalingrad, but succeeds in slowing down Soviet reinforcements heading towards the Caspian
>Due to rapid German advancements in the Western Caucasus and dim hope for timely reinforcements local Reds decide to abandon Grozny and set nearby oil fields on fire as they flee south
>Soviets eventually manage to penetrate german lines and advance only for Germans to capture Baku and its oil infastructure semi-intact, as the Turkish declaration of war against the Soviet Union and their subsequent air "attacks" on the Baku fields have prevented Reds from fully demolishing their equipment
>200,000 Reds in Georgia fail to get out, surrender to Germans
>Roaches occupy Georgia, Armenia and move to attack Syria
>Due to insufficient fuel stockpiles/uncoordinated logistics the Red Army air force has to scale down operations for a time
>Armeegruppe Nord acquires a good deal of intelligence from a high ranking Soviet turncoat and manages to encircle some 500,000 Reds on the island of Saaremaa, fully captures Leningrad
>Allied strategic bombing campaign continues albeit with heavier allied losses than OTL due to eastern Luftwaffe fighter squadrons getting deployed westwards

>Finns capture Murmansk only for angry Reds butthurt over losing Leningrad to advance all the way to the Swedish border, cutting Finland in two
>fortunately they end up confusing Swedish border guard for Finns, leading Sweden to join the Axis and declare war on the Soviets
>Allied plans to invade Italy are shelved for the time being due to the rapid evacuation of Axis troops from north Africa and the Roach entrance into the war, Rommel is sent to Syria to keep Turks from crashing themselves with no survivors
>Soviets try and start to invade occupied Byzantium but due to the purges and mountains they don't fly so good
>Kurds and german-funded Chechnyan Jihadist proxies engage in widespread gorilla warfare against one another in Iran, hampering Allied supply lines and organization
>Rommel manages to beat back the Allies in Aleppo against all odds, forcing Allied planners to devise Gallipolli 2.0
>Meanwhile in Asia, Nips have managed to completely collapse the Communist-defended northern chink front following the surrender of several high ranking officers in the siege of Yan'an, IJA cavalry backed up by Mengkukuoan militias advance deep into the Gobi desert

>Chinks eventually manage to stabilize the front, but then the IJA launch a surprise attack from Indochina aiming to cut off the southern Chinese coast

The A-10 Warthog Is Sticking Around for At Least Another Decade
>After years of trying to retire the Warthog, the U.S. Air Force is spending big to keep more of the attack jets flying for another decade.

>Just weeks after the last of 173 A-10 Thunderbolt IIs received new wings, the Air Force on Wednesday awarded Boeing a $240 million contract to start installing new wings on 27 more aircraft — the first tranche of a project expected to re-wing a total of 112 aircraft for about $1 billion, according to a Pentagon contract announcement. The contract awarded on Wednesday runs through 2030.

>“Boeing will team with Korean Aerospace Industries and other key suppliers to deliver the first wing sets to Hill Air Force Base in Ogden, Utah,” the company said.

>The contract signals the Air Force will no longer try to retire the plane, known for its rapidfire 30-millimeter cannon. The Warthog was introduced in the 1970s to support troops on the ground, and has seen heavy use in Iraq and Afghanistan since the U.S. invasions there. Yet over the past decade, the Air Force has several times called for retiring the plane and performing its close-air support mission with higher-flying planes like the F-35 Joint Strike Fighter or slower propeller-driven attack planes.

>Earlier this month, a congressionally mandated Mitre Corp. report obtained by Air Force Magazine said the Air Force should retire A-10s as new F-35 are delivered. And the Air Force is buying planes like the Embraer Super Tucano and Beechcraft T-6 for special operations and training foreign air forces.

>The Air Force started replacing the wings on 173 A-10s in 2011. That work finished earlier this month.
