SURVIVE AGAINST AI'S ONSLAUGHT AND FORMAT THEIR HARD DRIVE
AI War: Fleet Command is a mix of RTS, grand strategy and tower defense that takes place in a space setting. The objective is to defeat two AI's by conquering their homeworlds and simultaneously trying to NOT DIE as both AI's attempt to flood your planets with massive enemy fleets.
>Why play it?
AI opponents have a shared difficulty score that affects how hard it rapes players - the more it has, the more ships will come to invade with every wave, the more advanced they'll be, etc. It can be adjusted by not destroying certain AI structures, not letting AI destroy some of your structures and planning out conquests. The way difficulty works makes it more of a puzzle than a normal rts.
This game has a massive amount of expansions, which increases it's replay value massively. Last time we played it, it took 10 hours just to beat it on a planet count reduced from 80 to 60.
The AI's adapt and can figure out ways to fuck up your designated chokepoint if players let it do so. It has numerous difficulty settings - everything below 7 is easymodo, 7 is average, 8 is challenging, 9 is very
challenging and 10 is designed to be unwinnable. It also has different types related to it that can be set at the start of the game - Speed Racer AI's ship speed is cranked up, Fortress King has massive fuckoff fortresses on almost every planet, there are tons of those to choose from.
There are also Plots related to the contents of the game, such as Golems, Astro Trains et cetera. Just know that there is a lot of content to the game.

WE'LL BE PLAYING GAMES WITH DLC, SO INSTALLING BOTH PACKAGES IS REQUIRED. CROSS-PLATFORM MULTIPLAYER WORKS
As they take a metric fuckton of time, we'll be playing on weekends to get things done. I will host the next game on Friday, at 4 PM EST.
You can doublecheck the time here - https://time.is/EST
- EST is NOT EDT.
The game supports up to 8 players co-op and has numerous ways to start out as:
Play the game how it's meant to be played originally - you control one Human Home Station and all things related to it. Make ships, turrets, conquer planets and contribute to the task of killing off AI's.
The glorified spectator mode. You can watch the others play the game and even control other players's units if they set them to shared control in the unit settings, but can't own any type of unit. The difficulty in this game also scales with player count, but this player doesn't count for the purpose of this increase. Best if you're new and don't trust yourself to not fuck things up.
Get a huge fuckoff starship in the place of a command station. Your task is to go into special wormholes on the enemy planets that no one else can access and fight ships from minor factions to acquire new ship and/or structure designs. You can level up and get better equipment for the starship, but for all intents and purposes you're treated as a helper when it comes to owning things, so you can't ever have a command station.
Get both the command station and the Champion starship. Because Champion players take so long to do anything with their wormholes and because having a Champion player makes AI send certain ships at you in between certain intervals of time
, it's not an upgrade at all. Play one of the three other roles instead.
GOOD LUCK AND REMEMBER, FIGHTERS > BOMBERS > MISSILE CARRIERS > FIGHTERS AND MAKE TURRETS TO NOT DIE
