So against my better judgement I am giving New California a second try and I am already regretting it; it feels more like a call of duty game than Fallout, everything feels railroaded and has more emphasis on the game's sub-par combat rather than actual roleplaying. Plot is Fallout 3 tier, don't give a shit about any of the characters except for Elsdragon, who's actually pretty entertaining. Also, fuck the nigger who decided that all most all of the dialogue skill checks in the game should be based on S.P.E.C.I.A.L points rather than actual skill points
Sound direction is fucked; background noise is constantly louder than the characters, some of the dialogue text don't match what the characters are saying, and the voice acting loves to shift between being actually pretty good to amateur trying not to wake up her parents tier
Game feels glitchy as fuck, slowdowns everywhere, first time I played it the main quest was fucked though it seems to have been patched, and I always have to save my game before answering the Enclave radio encase I CTD
How the fuck did it get this bad?
